ABOUT THIS WATCH:

SULTANAIRE UMBRA – REF. ST-001-2A

Umbra is Latin for shadow, and shadows are never truly black. In the last hour of light they turn blue, and that is the hour this watch was built for.

The case is West African zebrawood, striped by nature in an order no other tree has ever repeated, set over red sandalwood beneath. Against it runs deep blue steel, on the bezel, the crown and through the bracelet. Inside, a Japanese Miyota mechanical movement sits open to view. The wood was grown. Everything else was decided.

This watch does not exist yet. Until you order it.

SPECIFICATIONS: 

WOOD TYPE:

Zebrawood from West Africa, striped dark on gold by nature, paired with red sandalwood. Both are prized hardwoods, valued for colour, density and age.

WARRANTY:

Umbra and Ref. ST-001-2A are engraved on the caseback, and an NFC card confirms it as genuine Sultanaire. Covered by a 1 year warranty from delivery.

CRAFTED AFTER YOUR ORDER:

Nothing sits waiting on a shelf. Your watch is built only once you order it, shaped and finished by hand over three to four days, then sent within 15 days.

SUSTAINABILITY:

One tree is planted with every order placed. We use rare timber sparingly and source it with care, because something this scarce deserves nothing less.

UNIQUENESS:

No two pieces of zebrawood ever carry the same stripe. The grain on your watch was set by one tree, exists once, and can never be ordered again.

CARE:

Wipe with a soft, dry cloth after wear. Keep away from prolonged water, perfumes and solvents. Store somewhere dry and cool, out of long direct heat or sun.
