ABOUT THIS WATCH:

SULTANAIRE APTUS – REF. ST-106-1B

Aptus is Latin for fitted, suited to its purpose. It is what a Roman said of a thing that did its job without fuss. Every other watch we make announces its material. This one keeps it to a single ring. The walnut sits where a steel bezel would normally go, framing a dial finished in layers of black and graphite, with gold-toned hands crossing three counters and a date. The strap runs black to the buckle. It is the quietest watch in the collection and the one most likely to be worn every day, under a cuff, without a second thought. Inside is a Japanese Seiko movement.

Walnut grows across Europe and North America and has been the choice of gunsmiths and furniture makers for centuries, no two boards ever figuring alike.

WARRANTY:

Aptus and Ref. ST-106-1B are engraved on the caseback, and an NFC card confirms it as genuine Sultanaire. Covered by a 1 year warranty from delivery.

CRAFTED AFTER YOUR ORDER:

Nothing sits waiting on a shelf. Your watch is built only once you order it, shaped and finished by hand over three to four days, then sent within 15 days.

One tree is planted with every order placed. We source every timber with care and waste none of it, because wood this good deserves nothing less.

UNIQUENESS:

The bezel is cut from a single piece of walnut. Its grain exists once, on your wrist alone, and can never be matched or ordered again

CARE:

Wipe with a soft, dry cloth after wear. Keep away from prolonged water, perfumes and solvents. Store somewhere dry and cool, out of long direct heat or sun.
